Event announcement of helmet giveaway for first graders nationwide successfully organized!
AIT was again chosen by Honda as its event organizer for the 3rd year of 1 million high-quality helmet giveaway for first graders nationwide.
On July 3rd 2020, event announcement of helmet giveaway for first graders nationwide in academic year of 2020-2021 with the topic ‘Giu Tron Uoc Mo’ was successfully organized in Hanoi.
The event was co-ordinated by Honda Vietnam, National Traffic Safety Committee and Ministry of Education. AIT was the chosen event planner that was responsible for idea creation and event organizing.
The event has brought a very meaningful gift to first graders in their first day to school, with the hope that the helmet will be their protector and companion in everyday to school.
Joined the event, there were Comrade Truong Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister, President of National Traffic Safety Committee; Comrade Le Dinh Tho, Deputy Prime Minister of National Trafic Safety Committee, Permanent vice president of National Traffic Safety Committee, representative of Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Transportation; leaders of Honda Vietnam and journalists from National and Hanoi Journalism Organizations.
Once again, let’s look at the impressive number that the event has created for many years:
- Through survey, the rate of children (from 6 to 15 year old) wearing helmet has increased from 35% in 2017 to 70% in 2019
- More than 1.9 million high-quality helmets will be given to first graders in their first day to school for the academic year of 2020-2021
- After 2 years organizing this event, Honda has given 4 million helmets with the hope of increasing the rate of children wearing helmet to 80% in this year.
